Traffic Safety (OTS) Summit 2002 in Orange County, CA on
May 7, 2002. Janette joined the Account
Supervisor from Ogilvy Public Relations and the Community
Relations Manager from the Anaheim Angels. This workshop, "Forging
Successful Partnerships" was moderated by Mike
Marando, Marketing and Communications Manager from
OTS. This presentation offered summit attendees keen
insight into effectively forging public/private partnerships in order to
stretch limited dollars. |

something bad to happen. An incident happened on February 17
involving a Pontoon Beach, IL baby that was left alone in a
running vehicle. The car was stolen with the baby still inside the
vehicle. Police later found the girl unharmed. |

committee hearing to testify in favor of MO HB1331. This bill adds a
third degree offense to the crime of leaving a child unattended in a motor
vehicle. The crime is committed when an individual knowingly leaves a
child 10 years old or less unattended in a motor vehicle. Leaving a child
unattended in a motor vehicle in the third degree is a class C
misdemeanor. |
