March 2, 2000

The St. Louis NBC affiliate station KSDK interviewed the Struttmanns for their perspective about the prosecuting attorney not filing charges in Harrison Struttmann’s death. Justice has not been served. The Struttmanns are fighting for new legislation regarding children left unattended in vehicles.


March 1, 2000

The Washington Missourian wrote an article about how the Struttmann’s are fighting for tougher laws in Missouri prohibiting children being left unattended in vehicles. This article also features opinions of some members of the Missouri House of Representatives that believe leaving a child unattended in a vehicle would already be covered under child endangerment. We disagree with their assessment because no charges were ever filed in Harrison Struttmann’s death.


March 1, 2000

Fox Channel 2 KTVI, St. Louis, MO featured a story about what the Struttmann’s are trying to accomplish on the 5pm, 5:30pm, and 6pm news.


February 28, 2000

Janette Fennell appeared on The TODAY Show with Matt Lauer and made the first public announcement about the KIDS 'N CARS ™ organization.


February 25, 2000

The Struttmanns were interviewed by the St. Louis CBS affiliate, KMOV.


February 24, 2000

The St. Louis NBC affiliate station KSDK interviewed the Struttmanns. This coverage was tied into a very dramatic and preventable incident that took place that week in Independence, MO.
