Friends of Marin Center is a non-profit corporation with members who recognize the importance of encouraging the arts. As the Marin Center’s private support group, we raise funds to enhance the Center’s facilities and programming, assuring performance quality, comfort, and continuation of this vital venue for talent.
Friends of Marin Center also serves the community in its outreach program, using funds to purchase tickets that are given to low-income and disadvantaged county residents. The tickets are distributed free of charge through local non-profit agencies and schools.
Sponsorship and attendance at Friends of Marin Center Events, such as the February 2001 American Indian Dance Theatre Gala, make it possible to keep the arts alive and shining in Marin County.
