Benefit Gala 2003 Featuring the Peking Opera |
Friends of Marin Center is proud to announce the selection of the Peking Opera for our annual Friends of Marin Center Gala Benefit on on Sunday, March 16, 2003. This world-renowned performance group is full of youthful vitality and acrobatic flair. Unlike any opera we are familiar with in the West, this 'action opera' is sure to dazzel us with its spectacular costumes, and keep us on the edge of our seats with its exciting choreography. Gold Circle ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet the performers and enjoy fabulous Chinese cuisine. A very high profile event, the Gala is a terrific opportunity for community businesses, organizations and individuals to contribute to the arts through sponsorship, so that everyone, young and old, will have the opportunity to attend events of this caliber, regardless of thier economic situation.
