The Association of Oregon Community Mental Health Programs (AOCMHP) is a non-profit membership organization comprised of the Directors of Local Mental Health Authorities*. These statutory authorities are responsible for the planning and delivery of local addictions, developmental disabilities, and mental health services. Funding for services is provided in partnership by counties and tribes, the state of Oregon and the federal government. AOCMHP is committed to the well-being of our programs' customers and their families in every community, the care and protection of our most vulnerable populations and to the strengthening of the local human services delivery system.
Mission and Vision
The Association assures that state policy and funding recognize and support local mental health authorities, which are responsible for the development and management of publicly-funded systems of care for people with mental illness, addictions, and developmental disabilities.
AOCMHP is the unified voice of local governments, which are accountable for the well-being of people with mental illness, addictions and developmental disabilities.
