Albany Paratransit Program |
Service: The City of Albany subsidizes taxi rides, and provides shopping trips and group trips. Call for information about registering for group trips.
Hours: Taxi rides can be taken seven days a week (24 hours a day). Shopping trips are scheduled Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Group trips are scheduled monthly.
Eligibility: Albany residents who are 80 years of age or older or are unable to use AC Transit or BART due to a disability or health condition are eligible for the taxi program. For shopping trips and group recreation trips, different eligibility criteria apply.
Application required: Complete the Non-ADA Paratransit Services Application and mail it to the address above.
