City of Fremont Paratransit Program |
Service: Provides a shared-ride, door-to-door transportation service within Fremont, Newark and Union City. Social and recreational group trips for seniors and persons with disabilities are also offered. Organizations requesting group trip transportation must complete a Group Transportation Services Application.
Hours: Door-to-door transportation service is available Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Group trips are scheduled by advance arrangement.
Eligibility:
(1) Door-to-Door Transportation: Service is available to Fremont residents 80 years of age or older and to residents under 80 who have a disability or health condition that prevents them from using buses or BART.
(2) Group Trips: Seniors (60 or older) and adults with disabilities are eligible for group trips. Fremont-based community organizations that serve seniors/persons with disabilities may also request group transportation for outings for their members.
Application required: Complete the Non-ADA Paratransit Services Application and mail it to the address above.
