RSVP San Diego was one of the first 11 RSVP projects funded by the Administration on Aging on June 25, 1971. Our sponsor was the County Coordinating Council and the original grant was $47,050.RSVP San Diego is presently sponsored by Aging & Independence Services, Health and Human Services, the County of San Diego.
RSVP San Diego now has over 2000 volunteers serving at over 250 volunteer stations. Last year these volunteers recorded over 450,000 hours, saving the County of San Diego millions of dollars.
