Amid thousands of outraged Mental Health Consumers, college students, their families and State workers and physically disabled pledged to fight plans to cut funding proposed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Thousands packed into the civic plaza in front of the County Administration building, downtown. Lillibeth Navarro, Executive Director of LA IRLC denounce the cuts, part of Gov. Schwarzenegger's proposal to balance the state budget with out razing taxes and in fact the governor has signed a bill that would give the richest residence a permanent tax reduction. The Stop the Cuts Coalition, backed by the state employee’s labor union, contends that when the unwillingness to grow state budgets is a failing of governor. | |
