About Us
T4A is the non-profit association for the 28 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) in Texas. T4A was created to represent their collective issues at the state and federal levels. Nationwide, there are 655 Area Agencies on Aging, authorized by the Older Americans Act, who receive funds from their State Units on Aging to plan, develop, coordinate and arrange for services in each planning and service area. Texas has 28 AAA's that allocate program funds, plan, develop, and coordinate systems of supportive in-home and community-based services.

T4A supports some of their activites through professional dues. T4A also generates its own i come by hosting the Texas Conference on Aging and other training opportunities. T4A has an Executive Commitee comprised of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, and 2 at-large members.
