The Marin Child Care Council is a private, non-profit agency that has provided a variety of services to children and families in Marin County since 1979. The purpose of the Council is to serve the children and families of Marin County by offering resources, referrals, training and advocacy for quality child care.

The Marin Child Care Council operates in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws governing non-profit organizations. The agency is governed by a Board of Directors who establish policy and set the direction for the agency. The Council refrains from religious instruction or worship, and operates on a non-discriminatory basis, giving equal treatment and access to services without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, political belief, mental or physical disability, veteran status or any other category that is prohibited by law. The agency welcomes the enrollment of children with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Marin Child Care Council understands the requirements of the ADA to make reasonable accommodations for such children and it implements those accommodations.
