You may request our services when the doctor feels it is appropriate or your doctor may choose to refer you to our agency. In any event, Medicare and most insurance companies generally cover the total cost of Home Care. Home Health Aid and Domestic Services Assist the client in the following areas of Personal Care: Bathing Grooming Dressing Skin and Hair Care Toileting and Personal Hygiene Supervise or assist the client with walking Supervise or assist the client in and out of bed, chair, etc. Take temperature, pulse and respiration as necessary REMIND client of medication (Home Health Aides are NOT permitted to administer medication) Prepare and serve meals Prepare special diets ordered by the physician Perform light household duties, necessary to meet the client’s needs, or in conjunction with direct client care Provide diverse activities for the client MRDD Non Medical Transportation Services Other duties/functions as directed by a Nurse Supervisor, with client or family input, when appropriate All services provided by our staff are performed with the comfort, welfare and dignity of the client as our primary concerns.
