San Leandro Paratransit Service |
Service: A paratransit service called FLEX provides two different types of service:
FLEX Shuttle service consists of a series of shuttle stops throughout the City at key locations (such as shopping, transit and community centers) and along the shuttle bus route.
Medical Trips service allows residents who qualify to call and make a reservation for pick up and drop for medical purposes within Alameda County. This service is by reservation only.
Hours: FLEX services are available weekdays. The FLEX Shuttle operates between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Medical Trips operate between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Service operates every weekday of the year except City Holidays.
Eligibility: The FLEX Shuttle is available to residents 60 years or older or at least 18 years old and East Bay Paratransit-certified. Medical Trips are available to residents 75 years or older or at least 18 years old and East Bay Paratransit-certified.
Application required: Complete the City-Based Paratransit Services Application and mail it to the address above.
