The Jewish Family Service, College Avenue Senior Center serves over 110 seniors daily and during the past year, the center has had over 25,000 visits to various programs and activities.

The center operates Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm out of the Congregation Beth Jacob Synagogue located at 4855 College Avenue, near SDSU. All are welcome!

Our drop-in center provides hot kosher lunches, exercise, entertainment, cultural, social and Jewish programs. The center also boasts a senior friendly computer lab offering individual computer lessons, library and movie room where new movies are shown every Monday.

An annual fall senior health fair and flu shot event here at the center serves over 300 people and provided community information from over 25 health and community service organizations.

This thriving center continues to serve the older population by providing a warm environment that assists seniors in continuing to live independently and remain involved in both the community of San Diego and the local Jewish community.
